For all occasions, The Wedding Chapel provides a backdrop of greenery and white flowers. Couples are welcome to bring their own special decorating supplies, to provide fresh florals, or even to send a professional florist if desired. However, the chapel also has available its own collection of decorating supplies including colored artificial flowers, candles, sashes, pew bows, etc. that can be borrowed to help complete the wedding’s decorating scheme. Additionally, the chapel provides tables in a selection of sizes and shapes, linens for all the tables, and chairs too, as well as offering the use of serving pieces such as punch bowls, beverage dispensers, or pitchers, a cake stand, and serving trays, utensils, and assorted bowls.
When planning a wedding at The Wedding Chapel, it is important to consider the comfort of both guests and the bridal party, as although the venue is traditional and attractive, there is limited available space. The sanctuary easily seats 50 to 70 guests on its twelve pews, though occupancy should be restricted to no more than 85 guests for everyone to have a comfortable seat. The reception room is significantly more space challenged than the sanctuary. Receptions with 12 to 25 guests are ideal. Guest comfort also depends on what type of reception is being planned. Indoor table seating is most comfortable up to 25 seats, and limited to no more than 35 seats, with an absolute maximum of 40. A reception where most guests will be standing while they visit and eat can include a few more guests, perhaps up to 50. If the weather is nice, seating can be added onto the patio to accommodate an additional 12 to 16 guests.
The wedding plan packages are designed to generously include the amount of time needed for most weddings to be well prepared, so that the entire celebration can run calmly and smoothly, without rushing or mishaps. More elaborate celebrations require more time in preparation and so are therefore, more expensive. Receptions and rehearsals also add time to the overall celebration, but offer both valuable and necessary contributions toward the complete experience. If additional time is needed in any way to make a wedding celebration more memorable, or more pleasant, or efficient, it can be added as needed at a rate of $100 per hour.
The use of professional services is not included in the arrangement or the pricing of the planned wedding packages at The Wedding Chapel, though recommendations and referrals are often available. Couples may choose independently how they wish to fulfill the roles of these services for their wedding celebration. Florists, photographers, caterers, cosmetologists, musicians, a baker, and more… commonly all participate together to create a complete wedding experience for the couple. Professionals, as well as friends and family, are all suitably qualified in these roles. The couple may choose a simpler celebration experience by not including some of these services at all, which is fine also, except for the professional services of one role: the officiant. This person may be a relative, or a hired professional, not necessarily an ordained minister, but must be properly and actively qualified by the state of Oklahoma, with certification issued by the courthouse in order for the performed marriage ceremony to be legally recognized.
Additionally, The Wedding Chapel can provide an ideal setting for gatherings, parties, and special occasions other than weddings. Fees are charged on a per hour basis, at a rate of $100 per hour, typically with a 3 hour minimum. Please call to discuss and arrange the details of such plans, as each is a truly unique experience, and will require significant planning.
